ABOUT THE ARTIST
THE ARTIST KNOWN AS MANTIS
Born in the early 50's this artist from Chicago has appeared in Hitchcock's
epic thriller North by North West, and has won multiple film festival awards for his early work in Cinema. He has shown his unique styled, original paintings throughout the country since the early 80's. This is when the artist's creative interests turned to paint, canvas and the brush.
Influenced by Warhol and Pollock, the artist known as Mantis has finally been convinced after many decades, to share one of his most fun and popular commissions, Crazy Cat with the public and his fan base alike. This is an upbeat and fun painting that you and your friends will love.
